9/11 Stadium Brawl At Jets-Cowboys Game Includes One Fan Zapping People With A Taser
Happened at the Cowboys & Jets game yesterday. Some fans these days are taking things way to far.

I guess we could assume that the security at MetLife Stadium was being extra vigilant during tonight's stressful, gloomy anniversary game and were so preoccupied with making
sure no fan tried to sneak in an umbrella or a laser pointer that they simply forgot to pat-down everyone for the little things like, you know, stun guns.

And to think I used to work there, good thing I quit. It was bound to happen, when you get the two most obnoxious and asshole fans playing in the same stadium its bound to get ugly. Im guessing a guy didnt want to do any talking and just zapped his ass. If they catch him hes in trouble since thats an illegal weapon even if it was self defense.

Every NFL stadium ive been to, theres a quick patdown before you go in.
So how he got it in there is beyond me.

I've never been patted down before entering Cleveland Browns Stadium or Heinz Field.
Maybe it's only in Baltimore there Boh :heh:

If I'm the guy that got hit by another fan with the stun gun, I'm suing the fan, Jets, the stadium, and/or the NFL. Which ever are appropriate.

Was at Heinz a couple weeks ago. There was a pat-down, but only a very superficial one, and that wasn't always the case.
Put it this way. I usually smuggle a flask into the game. There has been a time or two where I observed the pat-dow and noticed that it was so thorough I had to stick the flask down the front of my pants. I didn't take one to the last game, but I could have just stuck it in any pocket and gotten it in, that was how lax the pat-down was...

One thing about Giants Stadium or MetLife whatever the name is now. Is that usually 10 mins before kickoff, they use a codeword I forgot what it was, and it basically expedites the pat down process and they just rush everyone in. Why they do that is beyond me, I never agreed with it when I worked there, and this incident will cause extensive lines at the gates now over there.
Edit: Also the scanners and cameras will determine who was the one who did the patdown and scanned the ticket, and if they find out who patted him down you can rest assured that guy is going to lose his job if he half assed it.

I was at the 2010 preseason game against the Panthers in Pittsburgh and not only did I not get patted down...I don't think the girls sitting in the row across from me even had their purses checked. They had gotten a large bottle of Crown Royal into the game. The bottle was later confiscated and the girls were kicked out of the stadium for causing a fight in the stands.
