Bruce Davis sighting LB for Oakland not a starter.
Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
I saw someone post on another board that they were at the game with their son and there were numerous fights in the stands during the game, scary stuff.
Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
Bunch of savages in that pit of hell
Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
Without reading anything about the situation, I can about guarantee you it was a Raiders fan that shot 2 49ers fans....
Was I right?

I think it was the other way around. Regardless, it was a horrible event to have taken place. I've always heard that the fans hate each other with a passion, but this is unacceptable.
Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
That is not what you want to hear.
Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
WTF is wrong with people?
And you also had the Giants fan beaten in LA earlier this year.
Honestly, how much I would love to visit California, you always hear about shit like this happening there. Cali seems full of thug bastards.
Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
A long way from the summer of 1967.
Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
While I was at the gym today I saw some news coverage of one of the fights...some idiots were just standing around watching and taking videos on smartphones. I really do not understand people.
Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
The net effect of this will be, after FINALLY relaxing a little on the gameday pat-downs, the NFL will knee-jerk and it'll be full-on body cavity searches again like post 9-11.
Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
I was always afraid when I went to the Steelers/Raiders games in Los Angeles. Raiders fans are classless thugs. There's no such thing as a friendly rivalry among those fans.

No, L.A. is full of classless thugs. The stereo type is just wrong... and worn out. Raiders fans are no different than any other fans. I've witnessed plenty of shit go down at Cleveland stadium between Browns and Steelers fans, trust me. No team is immune to stupid fans.
Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
Eventually they will give up the beer income and replace it with green tea.

Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
Shocker, Ravens fans getting in a fight. They probably do it to look tough seeing how they are always wearing purple.

I agree that every team has stupid and asshole fans. But it seems every single time I hear of something like someone getting the living crap beaten out of them or shot....it happens in California.
It wasn't a shot at Raider fans, but the entire thug mentality that seems to be running rampant in Cali. My uncle lives there and he said he doesn't go to anything because he's afraid of being caught in the crossfire of a gang fight.

This thug/gang banger thing started when the Raiders moved to L.A. Before the move, Raiders fans were just rabid fans of their team, just like Steelers fans or any other fans across the country. Unfortunately, the gangs in L.A. adopted the colors and logo of the Raiders. It's been a non stop bash on Raiders fans ever since.
I've been a Raiders fan for 43 years. I'm not like that and I don't condone violence at all being associated with NFL games in any stadium by any fans of any team. I guarantee you that most Raiders fans, by a large margin, feel the same way.
Re: Two Shot At Oakland-49ers Game
At the request of the NFL, mayors of SF and Oakland, and police from both cities, the annual preseason game between the 49ers and Raiders is going to come to an end.

Thanks for the link. I can't say that I blame them.

49ers president an all out douche bag

Do you know why the annual San Francisco/Oakland preseason game was marred by multiple instances of serious fan violence? Well 49ers President Jed York has a theory, and it has nothing to do with excessive alcohol consumption or long-held frustrations over the team’s quarterback situation.
York suggested that a different type of crowd attended Saturday’s game than the one that normally shows up at Candlestick. “I think when you have a preseason game, when you don’t have your regular-season ticket holders coming to the game, I think that plays a big factor into it,” York said. He said that’s another reason why the NFL wants to eliminate some preseason games in favor of 18 regular-season games.
See, if the players had just listened to us and agreed on that 18 game season we’d be able to cut the preseason in half. As everyone surely knows, the preseason is nothing more than a breeding ground for the poor. So if you think about it, that guy who got shot should really be mad at DeMaurice Smith.
