Man! What Football God did Detroit piss off ?

Man, barely a little over a week in to this training camp, and the Lions, a team ALOT of experts believed could have made a huge leap this year into respectability, have REALLY been hit by the Injury bug. Especially to their " Highly Hyped " Rookies. I mean first, Nick Fairley, their 1st rounder goes down with a serious Injury. Then 2nd round WR, Titus Young has had continued problems with his body, Hamstring, muscle tightness. He went off the field again today, and this after only practicing once since arriving. And now, their other 2nd round pick, a Guy the Lions I know were counting on being a huge part of their running game, " Mikel Leshoure " tore his Achillies, and is OUT for his entire rookie season. Man, not good. Not a way you wanna start a season. I wish them luck, and NO more Injuries!!

This kind of thing is usually reserved for Cleveland.

I expect to see more and more of this though, as the guys just won't be in proper condition because of the work stoppage.

Man that sucks for them. Maybe they can still improve upon last year. I really wanted to see their D line with Fairley added.

If Stafford gets injured again they are really screwed

It's Detroit. Even with HoF RB Barry Sanders, they did nothing.

They should probably stop drafting RBs. It seems like they're just going to wind up in the trainer's room. Kevin Smith and Jahvid Best have both been hurt. Smith's career may be over. And now LeShoure gets hurt.

As mentioned. It's the Detroit Lions.

Bobby Layne's curse seems to be lasting more than what he originally bargained for.

I think it was because of the lockout. I'm sure a lot of these young guys were not working out on their own and waiting till camp to do drills and lift is a mistake.

Hate to see this happen. I was actually looking forward to a year the Lions make the playoffs. Hopefully they can geat healthy and compete. Seems this always happens to the Lions though.

They should realign and move them into the NFC West - they'd be almost a shoo-in for the postseason then.

The Oregon Ducks could win that division!!!

This is team that I want to see them win in all honesty. It's exciting to see a team build and become good again. I wish that would happen with Pirates faster...
