Tressel had an excuse about some kind of ongoing FBI drug investigation into the guy that owned the tattoo joint, and that's why he didn't report the indiscretions, at least that's the ostensible reason he gave.

I don't care. He lied. He needs to go. That's right, I said goodbye Tressel. 10 other coaches have faced similar charges recently, and 9 of them were let go. If OSU wants to scrub off the tarnish, the only way to do so is to release Jim Tressel.

No worries, though...if they do (and I am sort of predicting this), Toledo born, Ashtabula raised, and University of Cincinnati (DB) alumnus Urban Meyer will be hired as his replacement.

Doesn't Urban Meyer have a heart condition?

Yeah, but his dream job is to coach Ohio State. There were a lot of rumblings around these parts that if Tress is out, Meyer is their Number 1-5 choice, and that even though he quit at Florida, he never said he was done coaching. This isn't an idle rumor...I found these with a quickie google search.
