I was a fan of his coming out of Florida. Versatile receiver, but has dealt with drops.

a few backup #4 WR types signed but we need a legit 2 if they wanna make a real run

Much has been made about the Steelers’ need for a WR2, but Van Jefferson has been sneaky good in camp. Just had a great snag in team drills, and he’s been good for at least one highlight-reel catch a practice.

Drops can be fixed by correcting technique, that comes with good coaching.

This guy is a waste of a roster spot. I’d rather have a young guy fighting to prove himself. He adds nothing to the offense. Every time Wilson threw his way today, I thought at first it was Pickens and it would be a big play. I was sadly mistaken. You have to hit Jefferson right in the numbers. And he’s rarely open enough to do that.
He seems like he's not turning the right ways when the balls are thrown his direction either. Ball is thrown left, he turns right and vice-versa.
I'd rather have George Jefferson. At least the team would keep, "Movin' on Up, to the top".
