Week 11: Browns Round 2
Game One of the Ohio Trip. Back to back games in Cleveland and Cincinnati.
Pick sixes and defensive touchdowns aren't going to work this time. Cleveland is much better than the Steelers and they are actually good. Cleveland will stack the box with 8 man fronts and dare KP to beat them. Keeping the expectations low for this one.

Re: Week 11: Browns Round 2
The Browns have one of the top pass defenses. We should load the box and run over them.

Re: Week 11: Browns Round 2
Steelers 27
Browns 23
Kenny throws a touchdown pass!!!

Deshaun Watson is out for the season. What a waste of draft picks and money

This is gonna get ugly. Watson said he was hurt. Team sorta didn’t agree. Now he’s done? Someone screwed this up.

Re: Week 11: Browns Round 2
Imagine if they would have kept Dobbs , never dealt for Watson , had all that cap space and high commodity draft picks .... ohhhh snap ...Browns gonna brown .... as for Watson ...Karma just spit in his face
-
Re: Week 11: Browns Round 2
Bengals win tomorrow night and Steelers beat the Browns and the Steelers are in FIRST PLACE after 10 games.
-
Re: Week 11: Browns Round 2
With Watson out (he started playing well last game) it should be another low scoring game so maybe we can pull this off.
-
Re: Week 11: Browns Round 2
The #Browns are planning to start rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson at QB this week vs the #Steelers, barring a last-minute change of heart, sources tell @BleacherReport
. PJ Walker would be DTR’s backup.
-
Re: Week 11: Browns Round 2
With KP under center, there is no "gimme" game. Ever. DTR is dangerous because he has no expectations on him. He may even make the Browns better than massage man would.

You think Watson is fragile? We have the same problem.

We don't have the same problems as the Browns. They are the Browns!!

Karma can spit all it wants. Watson is still going to make hundreds of millions of dollars.
The Browns are the ones that are paying the price for giving a huge guaranteed contract. This was their year to go for it. Next year, I believe Watson's cap number becomes astronomical and they are going to lose players.

Re: Week 11: Browns Round 2
Dorian-Thompson-Robinson(Jingleheimer-Schmidt) played in the Browns/Ravens first matchup this season. He threw 3 picks. I'm thinking it's gonna be a steady diet of Ford and Hunt. I think we should do the same with Harris and Warren. Our LBs are bigger than theirs.

Re: Week 11: Browns Round 2
Ugly games are what the Steelers do best!
-
Re: Week 11: Browns Round 2
Potentially this prevents the Browns from just isolating LBers in coverage and beating them like a drum.
The way things are going, Steelers will make the playoffs and face the Chiefs. Then the day before the game, Mahomes will get arrested for treason or something equally bizarre!

Not even close.
What did Pickett miss? One start in 22 possible games?
Watson has missed the entire 2021 season with his injury. He then committed his offenses against women and got a suspension in the offseason.
Watson only played 6 games in 2022 because of his bullshit.
Watson will now only play in 6 games in 2023 because of injury.
How is that the same problem?

I'm OK with that!
I know this is going to sound completely stupid, but the Chiefs have not been explosive to this point of the season. They have a very good defense and Mahomes makes plays, but the offense has been pretty pedestrian. Those are the type of teams that this team can play with. If you're ever going to get Mahomes, this is the season.
I'm not saying I would bet my house on it. All I'm saying is that playing the Chiefs is not the mismatch it has been the last several years. I just hope we get that chance again. I want playoff games. I don't care who they play.....but treason would be awesome!

I get what you are saying. But they also have the kind of shifty RB and WR options that would give the Steelers fits. No one on the roster is well positioned to change direction with those might mites.
BUt...yeah....they don't have that WR who can just go out and kick your butt play in and play out. Kelce is a game wrecker....but the others? They are just a guy kinda guys. Though if that kid outta Clemson ever pulls his head out of his ass....he's sober Martavis Bryant 2.0.

Like I said, this may be the best shot at taking them.

I’d rather see the Ravens bury the Bengals even further…

What does Cleveland do next summer? Do they continue to force Watson on their fans or do they start to look elsewhere? [emoji23]

200 million dead money? How much is the whole salary cap?

He can still be on the roster and then move on from him starting. The salary just ties him to the roster. It doesn’t say they have to play him.
