Re: Week 4: Houston Texans
Yeah we're favored but if they whipped the Jagoffs then they're pretty tough. No expectation for this one, I'm still in wait and see mode before making a judgement call on this team.
Re: Week 4: Houston Texans
Good match up for Harris and Warren…
Re: Week 4: Houston Texans
I saw somewhere that the Texans are down 6 O-linemen, including both starting tackles? Is that an exaggeration, because if it isn't my god, TJ and Highsmith are going to feast, regardless of how well Stroud has been playing

Looking at their injury report, their backup center is questionable, both OTs are questionable, one being a backup also. That was a quick scan of it.

They have a few backups on the line and have been giving up a lot of sacks. But the worst part for them is that their backup LT got hurt as well so they’re bringing up someone from the practice squad to fill in.
Highsmith might have a career day. Especially if they give the RT extra help to deal with TJ.
I almost feel bad for the rookie QB because this could be even more of a welcome to the NFL game than he’s already experienced. We just need to keep the middle plugged so he has nowhere to go when the edge rushers are coming at him from both sides.

Re: Week 4: Houston Texans
The Texans would be better off running the ball then. Rather than put your offense in the toughest possible situations over and over vs the Steelers pass rush. Run the ball instead.
I still feel like the Steelers should win this one. Is Kendrick Green starting for the Texans? Who is he blocking? The ball is probably going the other side.

I have a feeling that's what the Texans are going to do. They are going to run the ball a lot. Use power schemes, run at the edge pass rushers. Then go play action with a lot of max protection and take deep shots. Just a feeling.
Re: Week 4: Houston Texans
Someone asked me today "who y'all playing this weekend?" I answered "the Oilers." It actually took me a few seconds to realize why he was looking at me as if I had grown another head... Lol

The Texans played inspired football last week, routing the Jags on the road behind a breakout showing from their new face of the franchise. C.J. Stroud's steady improvement should have Houston fans thrilled for what's to come.
Except for maybe this weekend. While Stroud is 1-1 against Super Bowl-winning head coaches in his young career, Mike Tomlin is a masterful 24-4 against rookie QBs (including the playoffs) in his 17 seasons in charge.

All my exes live in Texas.
Re: Week 4: Houston Texans
As we all know The Steelers are famous for losing these types of games and, hopefully they will be ready for this game. Any given Sunday! I think the Steelers will win this game and, hopefully it's less stressful than the last 2 games.
Re: Week 4: Houston Texans
If the Steelers win this game they are a legit playoff team
update:
kendrick green is apparently their starting guard - maybe a win is not all that after all
Re: Week 4: Houston Texans
So watching sports channels to make final touches to my fantasy lineup and everyone is talking about is how Myles Garret is the best defensive player that ever existed . . . I hope TJ sees that and answers accordingly.
Re: Week 4: Houston Texans
Soft and confused on defense
