Apparently Buggs was playing through an injury and Carlos Davis was out. 3 healthy D-linemen: Heyward, Wormley, Loudermlk.

this season quickly went to shit

Sad. That may be the end of his tenure in Black and Gold and potentially his NFL career as well.

The teams lining up to sign injured aging interior DL is not very long.

I hope he can come back and play as long as he wants to.

That sucks, any word on when Tuitt would be eligible to return?

Thanks, hopefully we can squeak out a win next week against a surging Bengals team and get all our Def healthy the week after with a Tuitt return.

That surging Bengals team played worse than we did. Against the lowly Bears. Burrow was worse than Ben.

But yeah, they’ll probably beat us.

This is a big loss. Only a few players on defense would hurt more than Alualu being injured. He’s an extremely underrated talent on this team.

I never said they would beat us, I am pretty sure I said we would hopefully beat them, and that is because I am assuming we will be without Watt, Hayden, Bush, Alualu and Tuitt next week. I am hopeful we can play through our defensive injuries and get a W next week allowing our guys to get healthy. Maybe you misinterpreted my intent there.

This is HUGE. Last season, when Alualu went down, our run defense was never the same.

That said, we’ve changed our defense a bit to play with just two D-linemen (and three OLBs). Once Tuitt returns, we should be fine… although, our depth is not as good as it could have been.

That really sucks they are dropping like flies.

If our offense was competent I would say we need to explore making a trade to replace him but let's be honest this offense isn't winning anything so why even waste draft picks on a trade.
