The game is on the line... what journeyman QB?
The Steelers need to win to make the playoffs and Ben is out. You can call on one of three journeyman QBs in their prime to show up on Monday and start on Sunday. Who you got?
A. Vinny Testaverde Rec 90-123 TD/INT 275/267
B. Kerry Collins Rec 81-99 TD/INT 208/196
C. Ryan Fitzpatrick Rec 55-83-1 TD/INT 210/161
D. OTHER (But they have to have a long career and large stats)

You're always in it with Fitzy
Honestly I think he's a good QB, who knows what success he'd have had if he never played for a bunch of bottom dwellers
Re: The game is on the line... what journeyman QB?
I'd take a little Fitzmagic. He'd fit right in with that beard. lol
Re: The game is on the line... what journeyman QB?
Does Jeff Garcia count? (Plus his wife is a former Playboy bunny) :chuckle:
Re: The game is on the line... what journeyman QB?
I’m going old school and the OG Steve DeBerg or Chris Chandler!!
Re: The game is on the line... what journeyman QB?
86WARD took my deep cut choice of Steve DeBerg. Go really old school with Earl Morrall. But I think I might say Rich Gannon or Doug Flutie.
Re: The game is on the line... what journeyman QB?
DeBerg Rec 53-86-1 TD/INT 196/204

Earl Morrall is a great one. So is Gannon and Flutie.
Out of all mentioned, I think I’d take Gannon over everyone in real life!!
Re: The game is on the line... what journeyman QB?
Another good one is Dave Krieg
Rec 98-77 TD/INT 261/199
He's borderline journeyman though
Re: The game is on the line... what journeyman QB?
Jeff Hostetler. Not the greatest as a full-time starter, but man, did he ever step in and win big games when it counted. One of the only backups to actually win the Super Bowl.

HELL no. At the most inopportune time, he'd be strip-sacked and we'd end up with a loss. Guaranteed. Want to know why Seattle fans are such whiners? They had to live through several season of that man crushing their hopes and dreams. People believe the NW is the home of depression due to rain. They're wrong. It can be linked to the mid-80s and Dave Kreig.

Doesn't he hold the record for fumbles? Also for breaking Largents heart.
Re: The game is on the line... what journeyman QB?
How about Joe Gibbs as QB coach, or better yet, OC? Now THAT guy could coach up QBs.
Re: The game is on the line... what journeyman QB?
Well if we're gonna take ex starters that became journeyman I'll take Neil O'Donnell
