Re: A diamond in the rough?
He’s been doing very well. Pleasantly surprised!
Re: A diamond in the rough?
Buggs should make the 53 as the #5 D lineman. I think McCullers makes the final cut, although Lavon Hooks has looked good again.

That is Mondo cool if he makes the 53. But IMO Buggs is a lock.

I agree, Buggs makes the 53.
Mondeaux most likely makes the practice squad...
Re: A diamond in the rough?
Buggs is a near lock to make the final 53. By mid season, he could be viewed as the 4th most valuable defensive lineman.
The big question is this. Is he a better pure NT/DT run defender the Hargave? We have some lighter middle linebackers, a big man in the middle is needed to keep them clean from the interior offensive lineman and a FB when used.
Re: A diamond in the rough?
Buggs isn't half the player Hargrave is.

There’s a stat from last season, that when Hargrave is on the field, the number of pressures doubles (or some unGodly stat like that). Ergo, the coaches are trying to find ways to get him even more snaps.

Guess it would be nice to find another guy that’s half as good as him?
