One of my favorite Bennie memories.
RIP Bennie Cunningham
RIP Bennie. A good player from the great era.
RIP!
Wow - that pic pretty much screams "1970s." I wonder if the cupboard in the background was avocado or orange? :chuckle:
They say this cat is a baaad mutha.../Shut your mouth!/I'm talkin' 'bout Shaft!/Then we can dig it! :chuckle:
May he Rest in Peace. Steeler Nation getting hit hard. Verne Troyer, a big fan, and Bennie Cunningham a former player.
Me too......I was lucky enough to be at that game, sitting in the end zone section where Bennie scored. Three Rivers went crazy.
I remember the excitement Steelers Nation had at that time when Bennie was drafted.
"We finally have a TE that can be a real weapon to complement Swann and Stallworth and replace the "serviceable" Randy Grossman.
Not a dig at Randy by any means. For a guy with "limited natural talent," he was a key contributor.
He was one of my childhood heroes. RIP Bennie Cunningham
