Andrew Luck out 2-6 weeks - lacerated kidney
Quote:
Andrew Luck's roller coaster season has taken a turn for the worse.
The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday that Luck will miss two to six weeks with a lacerated kidney and a partial tear of an abdominal muscle. The team says the injuries will not require surgery and a full recovery is expected.

EDIT: Had to go look up the schedule to confirm. But this is relevant to us because we play them in 3 weeks at home on Sunday night. However, Hasselbeck has been very good as the backup. Certainly an interesting development.

I guess he doesn't know how to play QB yet. Only idiot QBs get injured.

It's in 4 weeks, but hopefully he's either still out, or plays but is too beat up to be effective. I don't really like Luck much after the last game we played against him. The amount of whining to the refs and fit-throwing was embarrassing. I would hate rooting for a guy like that.

The kid is getting beat like a drum. Same thing BB went through for years with a semi-pro OL. The owner must be high to not learn from that.
Re: Andrew Luck out 2-6 weeks - lacerated kidney
Same thing Keenan Allen just got put on IR for?
Re: Andrew Luck out 2-6 weeks - lacerated kidney
They actually played better when Hasselbeck was in there this season.

I don't know. Record wise yes but it should be noted that with Hasselbeck, they Colts barely beat the Texans and the Jags (at home in OT). With Luck back, they lost close games to the Pats and Panthers (in Carolina in OT after falling behind 17 points in the 4th quarter) and then beat the previously unbeaten Broncos

Did Arians leave his offensive (Get your QB killed) playbook at Indy? Oh, wait, Luck should change the way he plays QB so he won't be like Ben, whose style of play is reckless and makes him have more injuries than the entire NFL history of QB's and puts his whole team in jeopardy and chaos and gives them ZERO chance at any championships even though he won 2 and got to a 3rd. That reckless, drama queen, game manager Ben AND his cool shades coach. :stirthepot: :couch: :sarcasm: :chuckle:

They should be more like Peyton and Princess Brady and get sacked less (even though Peyton and Brady's oline don't have them facing pressure every dropback and when they do face pressure they turn very ordinary)
Re: Andrew Luck out 2-6 weeks - lacerated kidney
Indy has a lot of issues. A defense that's just putrid and an offensive line that might be one of the worst in the entire league.
A lacerated kidney. That can't feel good.

He is going to piss blood for a few days.

That was my first thought . . . OUCH.
