The Terrible Towel (Collecting)

Does anyone know where or what websites I can look for terrible towels? I collect them all and want to get my hands on whatever is out there. I have everyone from Steelers.com

The 75th Yr Towel
The Terrible Towel with Steeler logos on each end
The Hall of Fame Terrible Towel
The toddler Terrible Towel

Winter Classic at Hienz Field ???? It is a Terrible Towel.

The Myron Cope 1929 - 2008 Terrible Towel has two versions. The one they sell and the one sold on opening day in 2008. It has the steelers logo on one side and heinz field on the other.

I will look to see what others I have. I always wanted to know how many veriations of the towel have been produced and started collecting also. I will keep a look out for you for any of the others.

2000's version (current, to be refered to as basic)
Black version (basic but reversed)
Pink version (basic but pink with cancer awareness)
2 Logo (basic with steeler logo on each side)
Heinz Field opening (basic with Heinz Field Logo on side)
Three Rivers Commemorative (basic with picture of stadium on sides)
Super Bowl XL (basic with date of game)
Super Bowl XL (basic with date of game & score)
5 Time champions (basic with black logo's & text)
5 Time champions (basic with colored logo's & text)
Myron Cope 35 Years (has his sayings on it with date 10/31/05)
75th Anniversery (Basic with 75 year logo on sides)

NEPA, one of my coworkers asked if I had one of these and I just laughed in his face and said I wouldn't own anything or buy anything from Goodhell's tenure and told him this was Goodhell's lame attempt to capitalize on Myron Cope's great idea.

I recently acquired a 1978 terrible towel from a collector who had season tickets for over 2 decades. I'm looking to sell this item. Anyone interested please let me know.

I have one that was given to me by a former Pittsburgh resident in the late 80's when she found out I was a big Steelers fan that didn't have a terrible towel. I believe it is one of the first year towels sold at Gimbles. It has no other writing on it other than "the terrible towel". The guy with the "record" collection does not appear to have one.

I have a very old towel that I bought around 1994 from the steelers catalog .My e-mail is cehlers@stny.rr.com if anyone is interested I can e-mail them a picture of it ,I would like to get a idea of how rare it is.

check out ebay i got all my towels there and be patient to get them at a great price. they got holiday themes too

I have a "Build a Bear" TT.... It is about 3" by 4" and it has an elastic loop on one corner so that it can be placed on my bear's wrist.... I bought it through the BaB website, but I haven't seen it on there for a few years - - I got it about 3 years ago.....

My Colorado kid sent me a Camo TT a few weeks ago - - - I love it.... I am thinking about picking up the St. Pat's one that just came out, but I really have problems with things "green and yellow"..... There is already a glut of those colors in my neighborhood..... Sigh.....
