So on the lighter side of this season. I checked the yards for Wallace. Through three games, he's averaging 125 yards a game.

That equals, over a sixteen game season, 2010 yards.

Just thought I'd share.

He's a good kid, I wish him all the best!

Probably a shining beacon in a potentially bad season overall for the Steelers.

Wallace is the beast right now

that TD he scored on the corner of the EZ i was in and when Ben threw it i thought no way in hell he was gonna catch it, but damn he kicked it in gear and got right under it.

Gotta be honest, I thought last year was his ceiling. But he's got the whole playbook down now

I don't see him reaching that ridiculous goal, but damn he's gonna get close

Wallace is the man I think it is going to get harder for him because teams are gonna start doubling on him or keep a man on top but the play last night he burnt the man up top.

Wallace is playing out of his shoes. One of the few guys on the team who showed up to play this season.

Wallace has been great and if our line can protect he will get even better.

Soooooooo......do you think the Jets will sign him when his contract is up?

If Whisenhunt doesn't grab him up first for Pittsburgh West.

RFA. The possibility is there that a team could use the old poison pill to screw the Steelers...but there would be some nice compensation if he left.

Yep, and that leaves single coverage on Ward, Brown & Sanders!

Wallace isn't going anywhere. Thankfully, he's only a RFA next year. We could franchise him after that if we don't get a contract worked out before that.

Definitely don`t think he`ll reach 2000 yards. That`s asking too much. But he sure is having a fantastic season after three games.

The rate he's going...it's becoming a reality!!

While I don't see him actually getting 2000+ yards....he's so damn fast it's a possibility. But for him to get anywhere near 1500 yards, Ben needs to stay healthy...and that's what I worry about with our offensive line (or lack thereof).

While I doubt that Wallace will get to 2000 yards receiving, I'm almost positive that a WR will reach that mark this year and it will probably be Wes Welker.

I dont think he'll hit 2,000 yds, but I do think this is the year Yancey Thigpens team record goes down its 1398, i think Wallace gets this if Ben and him stay healthy

I'd trade him for an O Line. :chuckle:

Seriously though, why did they stop throwing his way? I think he only had 1 reception after the 80 yard bomb.

3 sacks, 2 FF, 1 INT, and 10 million hurries/pressures. That's why. heck, even on that TD Ben had to scramble out of the pocket so that he wouldnt collapse like a smoker's lung

Don't think Wallace will get 2,000, but he has a real shot at breaking Jerry Rice's record of 1,848 yards in a season. Talk about elite company.

Are you saying that we should trade him now because either 1. he won't live up to the expectations or 2. If he does, he'll be too expensive to resign? :chuckle:
