It will be interesting to see how loud it gets in the Lucas Oil Stadium tonight. They pumped up the noise in the old Hoosier Dome (and its various names after that), until yours truly had an effect in stopping it, just in time for the Steelers playoff game there.

The Colts creamed the Steelers 26-7 in a game here on Nov. 28, 2005. It was the loudest "crowd" I had ever heard, ear-splitting. It was the only time I ever wished I had worn earplugs for a football game. And I was in the press box. The noise wasn't aimed at me, it was directed toward the playing field.

Before the game, someone pointed out to me how they enhanced the crowd noise at the Hoosier Dome. Pointed out the speakers around the stadium in which he believed crowd noise was enhanced by using them...............

Not to worry...there will be more Steelrs fans there today than Colts fans. The Terrible Towels will dominate!
