With only seven undefeated teams after two weeks of the 2011 season, the ’72 Dolphins are more than 72 percent of the way toward seeing their perfect record remaining unique for at least another year.

As long as its not the Pats*. They have a trap game this week in Buffalo. Buffalo has scored some points so far this season and the Pats* haven't been stellar on defense. Should be an interesting game to watch. Having said that, the Pats* will probably be home and cooled out by the end of the 1st quarter.

Jim Mandich recently died down here. He was active in the community and attended many champagne parties, but he was no Steeler fan. He hated when I called his sportstalk and predicted the Super Bowl scores with the B&G.

Funny, I seem to remember Miami trotting all those geezers out in 1985 to root against the Bears on MNF when they were closing in on an undefeated season. I also remember that every year that we get a team going 9 or 10 & 0 to start the year, Shula or one of his players ends up on TV somewhere talking about that friggin team. Shula is talking out his ass, they celebrate that crap every year. I actually hoped that the Pats were gonna win that Superbowl againt the Giants just so I'd never have to see those stiffs on tv ever again. Lol

They have champagne on ice from week two on waiting for every team to lose a game. Don't act like you guys don't.

Didn't Mandich finish his career in Pittsburgh?
