Troy Polamalu read the play perfectly, and when Seattle quarterback Tarvaris Jackson threw a short pass to tight end Anthony McCoy, the All-Pro safety looked like he had a sure interception.

Polamalu couldn't hang on, missing out on his 28th career pick and an easy touchdown.
It didn't matter much, considering the Steelers led the overmatched Seahawks, 24-0. The play, though, may have significance............

You often lose games when you turn the ball over, especially when you have seven in one game like we did in Baltimore.

The Steelers will get their turnovers, but too much of a deal is made when you don't get any. You aren't going to get turnovers every game.

What's most important is not turning the ball over yourself. If you don't turn it over yourself, you have a shot at winning.

The Steelers put themselves in a big hole week one that's going to take time to dig out of.
