Fresh off of their 24-0 rout of the Seattle Seahawks, the Steelers are looking for back-to-back shutouts for the first time in 11 years.

After reading that thread, I can see that some Colts fans have a lot of class.

Maybe the greatest performance ever displayed by an NFL team. They gave up a total of 28 points over the last 9 games including 5 shutouts total and 3 in a row at one point.

Oh god, peeps are jinxing it now.

I don't think people are giving Kerry Collins enough credit. He's a wily vet. Watch the Colts scored an opening drive TD Sunday Night.

Shutout? On the road? With Gay starting in place of BMac? Nope.

Let's make sure we win the game. Hope the players are not taking the Colts lightly. It worries me that this game is in Indy on a Sunday night and on national TV. I expect the Colts pass rush to be especially fired up and I hope we have help for our tackles, if not, Ben is going to be under constant pressure.

We have to set the tempo early and put steady pressure on Collins. Don't let him get comfortable and into a groove. If we disrupt him, we will be able to think about keeping them off the scoreboard.

Hmmm...I think they have us confused with the Raiders.

Anyhoo, this is the same Collins who burned the Steelers' bee-hinds in Nashville a couple of years back (I know I was there for the carnage). I hope Pop LeBeau and Co. keep that in mind. Just sayin'.

They should, but they won't.

Although I'd love to see it, I can see the Colts getting in Field Goal range early and putting up 2 or 3 then after the Steelers have the game well in hand with about a 24 point lead late, the Colts getting a garbage touchdown...so 31-16 or something like that.

Can they have another shutout ? Sure, but I don't think they will. I agree with Dino, I see some FG's and then the Steeler's, after a decent lead, will play their conservative crap and let the Colts back into the game with some garbage points. Our CB ( GAY ) giving up some big yards and 1st downs. I think this has the making of a tougher game than expected--Sunday night game, prime time TV, and away. Hopefully they aren't taking the Colts lightly. I just want a WIN, makes going to Houston a little easier. GO STEELER's

Actually, that was only a 14 game season which makes the feat even more remarkable after the 1-4 start.

You know I loathe the Steelers.

Having said that, if you shut out the Colts, I won't shed any tears over your victory. :drink:

O-line needs to block proficiently for Mendenhall and Redman. Biggest thing that worries me other than that receiving corp is Mathis/Freeney. 120+ on the ground should neutralize them.

I tried to sign up on that site, but when I went to do si it said my email address has been banned. Probably because when I chose my favorite team, I didn't choose the Colts. I guess they can't take the opinion of the other team's fans. Colts fans are fucking pansy ass bitches anyhow.

Back-to-back shutouts has as much clout as going 19-1 in 2007-08.

Well, I know our defense looked impressive last game, but it was one game...and it was the Seahawks. I know the Colts are without Manning, but let's be honest, they're still the Colts! Their offense has too much firepower to underestimate. After all, we gave up 35 to Baltimore just 2 weeks ago, so let's not start any comparisons to the '76 Steelers. Is it possible we hold them to no points? I suppose, but it will be very difficult!
