Well congrats to the ratbirds. Their offense outplayed ours, their defense outplayed ours, and their coaching out coached ours. As we all saw, the game was over in the first 1 minute of play. Damn, am I glad this miserable game is behind us....I think Tomlin will have alot to work on for weeks coming. The MOST points the ratbirds have scored on the 'burgh. ugh

7 tunorvers Ridiculous.

If we lose against the Seahawks next week, I panic. But we have good chance to be 2-1, since playing against the Seahawks at home and against the Colts without Peyton Manning.

I congratulate the Ravens for their amazing game.Admittedly, this is a big win for them.It was a must-win for them, for their confidence.

Outplayed. Outcoached. Outdone. For one game. Tough shit. Let's see them do it again when the stakes are higher.

As for the Steelers, No Gameballs, or atta-boys, nothing. The whole team just sucked too damn much today. Pathetic Red Zone offense. Just sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. Garbage. Big Home Opener next week against Seattle. Time to spend a long, hard look in the mirror this upcoming week. Can't let this loss stew for long, or else they're in for a lot of shit against the Seahawks.

I didn't get to watch the game, and honestly, I am happy it wasn't on TV where I live.

Ben was bound to have a bad game against Baltimore. But I didn't expect our defense to not show up.

The way the Steelers played today, they couldn't beat a high school game.

It's time for some soul searching, and Tomlin and the rest of the coaching staff needs to get to work RIGHT NOW on fixing the problems.

This was an absolute horrible game. Outplayed and turned the ball over one to many times. I was not expecting this to have happened at all, but with that being said. This better be a huge wake up call.... and its only week one. We still have fifteen more games to go. Siss... your predictions for this season better be right...

What got me was how completely they unraveled after they allowed the Ravens to march right down the field on the first drive of the game. Usually they don't fall apart like that. You have to believe that either they were overconfident, or they were flat-out unprepared. Either way, it's unacceptable. This ranks right up there with the worst performances I've ever seen from them, and in every way possible.

The offensive line looked dreadful. It looked like the Steelers were playing with 3 O'lineman out there today.

I've never liked Colon. Flozell played the best RT we have seen in years last year. That right side of the O'line is going to be dreadful with Legursky and Colon. Looks like he didn't forget how to False Start.

I don't think they were 'overconfident', I just think they weren't prepared. To me they ( all of the players, offense and defense) just looked confused as hell on the field. The offense couldn't read defense, and the defense had no idea what flacco and his offense was going to do.....i.e. the 2pt play after TD. They were just all just 'hanging' around on the field. A terrible game all around. Tomlin needs to have a gut check right after game with the coaches and see where the hell they are at in the play books and game plans. As far as I saw in todays game....there was no game plan for one, and the play book was non-existant. Good job and hat's off to the ratbirds...they had our number today........damnit !

Oh by the way, that "great offense" Ben and Arians preached in the preseason...

This is what happens when the Steelers flirt with the Greatest show on grass offense. Bad things happen. This game looked eerily similar to a certain 2009 game in Cleveland. Except that was against a bad team and this is against a good team, so the results are so much worse.

Ben is not that kind of QB who puts up fancy statistics. He's a gut-it-out gunslinger who improvises because of his shitty O-Line. Our O-Line (besides Pouncey) is shitty, and it will always be subpar for the rest of the year. We don't have the kind of Offensive Line to run the Patriots Offense. He can't run this kind of offense effectively and consistently without an offensive line. Simple as that. And with a Defense that looks really bad right now, it's worse.

This was an unmitigated disaster. At least we did not give up a TD on special teams.

The vets on this team can not allow this to happen again. It is time for the leaders to step up and for the coaches to get their heads into the 2011 NFL season.

1) Time to have some new schemes and coverages on defense. Too predictable and too easily exploited now.
2) Get an O line.
3) Take what the Defense gives you and stop trying to fit a round peg in a square hole.
4) Get an O line.
5) Ben, you gotta play man. What is going on? O line, yes, but something else is going on.

The SB and today's game are ominous omens for this season. Panic button, not quite yet, but vast improvements are needed. NOW!

In the big scheme of things, the Ravens won a game they were supposed to win and they did it in style. Congrats to them for it. But they'll have to learn to win in Pittsburgh, in the cold, in the rain, in the snow and in the playoffs...

bright point of the game A brown on KO and punt returns i thought he did a good job. im still SMH over tomlin putting in foote that was a big mistake he promply missed a tackle try to tackle high on a little RB and then blew a coverage assignment. taking the leader or a leader off the field on D should never happen. the right side of the oline look atrocious and the left horrible, then bmac and gay well they where themselves, then the pass or lack thereof pass rush made the secondary look even worse. the worst thing tht happened in this mess was they ran the ball at will that is what is sticking in my head. Ben needs to stop lobbing the ball over the middle. Arians hit the panic button and tried to get 20 yards a play. all in all game 1 or 16 i can live with getting the turd game oout fo the way.
