NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) — It’s been a brutal preseason for the Giants — and it just got worse.
Add Clint Sintim to the list of Big Blue players done for the season.
The 25-year-old linebacker ruptured the patella tendon in his right knee while making a tackle in the third quarter Thursday night against New England.
“I knew as soon as I hit,” Sintim, choking back tears, said afterward.
Giants coach Tom Coughlin called the injury “devastating.” Sintim may also have a torn ACL, according to the team.
