I know it is about time I allowed my repressed hatred of Roger Goodell to pass, but the commissioner just continues to act in ways that leave me and so many other NFL fans scratching their heads.

All of you out there in Steeler nation are obviously well aware of the “sensitivity” Goodell has shown Steeler players when dealing with fines and suspensions. The commissioner has not hesitated to suspend Steeler players, fine Steeler players, or use players in the Steelers organization as examples for what is wrong to do in the league.

But on Saturday, when the commissioner had a chance to show that he was not biased toward any team, and that all he was interested in was making sure the NFL had a no nonsense policy for everyone, he epically failed.............

is it just me being cynical or are all these "writer wannabes" pathetic at grammar and punctuation? I swear, if I were a qualified journalist I'd be insulted by all the hacks out there.

Maybe it's a little of both. I guess if someone is so caught up in spelling and grammar then they are probably missing the overall message, at the same point if the grammar is to far off then it's hard to tell what the real message is. I guess as well that maybe if you are interested try to look past the mistakes and figure out the message then reply on how you feel if you are so compelled. Don't know if that helps but that's my 2 cents.

James Harrison was right about Goodell Castro

Goodell needs to be investigated by the FBI. It isn't just Talib--Goofdell also decided to let Brandon Marshall off without a penalty on the grounds that he wasn't charged. This is the same Brandon Marshall who has a long history of run-ins with the law.

At this point, no reasonable person can believe Goofdell is acting in good faith or even trying to be consistent. I'm becoming more and more convinced that he's taking bribes to try to fix the outcome of the season.

They said on NFL Network that the actions took place while the players were not under the CBA and because of that Goodell had no power to suspend Talib and other players.

If that's the case, then I think we all need to cut him some slack.

For now.

If that's the actual NFL stated opinion. I believe Mr. Pryor should appeal his suspension.

Goodell stated before the lockout that all players were expected to to abide by the personal conduct code during the lockout. Flip flop. He voted no before he voted yes.
