Terrible night for injuries. I was hoping we could rid ourselves of Dixon this season. Guess not.

Pre season is always rough for the Steelers with the injuries and tonight is a disaster so far. Just confirmed Lefty was sent to the hospital and it looks like def. a break which is bad news. Gotta keep Dixon now.

tonight is a disaster so far.

This sums up my feelings about tonight. I would rather they had no injuries and been beat 28-0.

I wouldn't even let Pouncey see the field next week...provided that he's ok.

No one has any word yet on Pouncey?

Could be worse - we could've lost Ben instead. Or Troy.

He'll be fine.... he didn't go into the locker room for x-rays.

Unfortunately Lefty, Batch and DD are fragile QB's

Pouncey, Lewis and Hampton should all be fine, Lefty broke his arm and will likely be done for the year.

Any word on Lewis yet? He looked pretty gimpy as he was headed for the locker room. Sucks about Lefty.

Damn. I say next week, starters don't even play. Why risk it?

One series (at most) for the starters and then put the 3rd stringers and bubble players in.

I like Lefty as a QB, but his injury history has always been more than murky and can't be trusted to be the only backup for Ben

Batch's not much better of course, so we'll have to hope Ben survives

I don;t know what they showed on TV, but I had my binoculars on Lefty, and that hit was NASTY. His arm was just dangling there after. I turned to my girlfriend and said "He just broke his arm". It was almost Theismann obvious.

Throw the ball away in preseason, Lefty.

He might be hanging it up permanently with a bad wing.
