G'day folks,

I've just joined this forum and am confirming my first trip to da 'Burgh in late August to mid September 2010 from Australia.. if any of you live in / near by Pittsburgh, it would be great to meet up... leave your favourite Steelers bar recommendations and I'm sure I'll check it out. Even PM me if you like. I'm on facebook as well.

The Steelers bar I go to isn't near Pittsburgh, but welcome aboard!!

Make sure you go to the Station just across the river over by the Clipper Boats.. Great place to pick up anything Pittsburgh and there are a few bars around the area.. Also, go to the Strip District for some good old Pittsburgh shopping...

Welcome to the board, and hope you enjoy the burgh...I was born and raised there, but I moved away about 10 years ago so a lot has changed since then. South side was always fun, there's gotta be about 50 bars on that one road, all next to eachother. It's fun to people watch down there too, a lot of interesting people to see. Also, definitely hit up Mt Washington, take a ride on the incline, and check out the strip district

Welcome to the board and please enjoy your new home! I recommend going to the original Primanti Brother's in the strip district best sandwiches around!
