The Philadelphia Eagles will be stuck with the 'Dream Team' label all season no matter what happens. But even if the Eagles have a big season, they still can't even be considered the best team in their home state until further notice. Us Philadelphia fans were reminded of that the hard way when the Pittsburgh Steelers throttled the Birds last Thursday night.

It was only a preseason game, yet the Steelers sent a clear message that they are still a force to be reckoned with. After all, Pittsburgh is the only team in Pennsylvania that has Super Bowl championships and more than one conference title in the last decade- and can add to that total this season.

The Steelers have always been a bit invisible recently, even though they have one less Super Bowl win in the last decade than the New England Patriots. But despite their two championships and last year's AFC title, the Steelers still get less press and attention than the Patriots, New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, Green Bay Packers and the Eagles. Whenever they do make headlines before the playoffs, it has been because of Ben Roethlisberger(notes) or James Harrison's(notes) off-the-field comments or behaviors, or for getting fined on hard hits.

Fixed for more accuracy.

Even if they didn't make off-field comments of engage in those behaviors, they'd still get generally underestimated and ignored. It's just the way it is.

Forget three trips and two wins in the Super Bowl since the Patriots* won their last one, it's still all about the Ravens in the AFC North. They have oh so much talent and they're going to take the next step with Flaccid this year. Oh Lordy. Quick, play another segment on the Patriots and Jets so we can hear Foot Man talk shit while guzzling on Brady's **** some more.

Peyton Manning, still the best in the league and the Charguhs are going to teh Supuh Bowl.
