He must be GUILTY! Rapist!

The National Enquirer is reporting that former Vice President, Al Gore was accused of sexually assaulting a masseuse in Portland, Oregon nearly four years ago. They are claiming that the incident is the reason for Al Gore’s recent split with wife, Tipper.

The report claims that the woman kept her pants which contains the DNA of Gore.

Well, I'm no Google expert, so I am suspect, I guess...

However, when my cousin had a little half page piece done on her in the rag, she said out of all the mags and outlets she was ever featured in, the Enquirer vetted her the most. They are a HUGE target for lawsuits, and they don't usually do features on fat halfwits from New Mexico, if you know what I'm saying.

If you're laying this shit out there, you need to be well equipped against libel suits...

More on-target, though, and as I stated before, if she's claiming DNA evidence, that's pretty cut and dried. No "He said She said". Gore is a dirtball so he's definitely convicted in my court, but he's rolled such a big filthy ball of lucre from his climate change lies he may just be able to buy his way out of this...

No charges following sex allegation against Gore

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland police say they investigated allegations that former Vice President Al Gore had "unwanted sexual contact" with a massage therapist during an October 2006 visit, but they found insufficient evidence to support the woman's claims.

In a transcript of the interview released by police, the massage therapist said she was doing requested abdominal work on Gore. She claimed he started to moan, demanded she go lower, and later grabbed her hand and shoved it toward his pubic area.

She alleged he later tried to have sex with her and began caressing her before she squirmed out of his grasp.

In a detailed statement given to police more than two years after the alleged incident the woman described her surprise at arriving for the VIP massage appointment to find Al Gore drinking beer and opening his arms in a hug saying "Call Me Al."

But she said her VIP client later turned "angry and threatening" when she resisted Gore's efforts to force her hand to his inner thigh and lower abdominal area during the massage and then attempted to rip her clothes as she struggled against him, she told police

Gore "flipped me flat on my back and threw his whole body face down over atop me pinning me down and outweighing me by quite a bit," injuring her back and legs, she claimed. "He kept trying to have sex with me," said the woman, who described the situation as "frightening."

the plot thickens

A masseuse who accused Al Gore of being a "crazed sex poodle" and of groping her in a hotel room is preparing to come forward and sell her story -- for $1 million.

Sources tell Page Six the so-far unidentified Oregon woman is ready to publicly reveal herself and heap more embarrassment on the former vice president in return for a seven-figure media deal. And she intends to use the pants she wore on the night of the alleged incident -- supposedly stained with Gore's DNA and stored in a bank safety-deposit box -- as evidence against Gore, who recently split with wife Tipper.

She alleged, "He grabbed my right hand hard, shoved it down under the sheet to his pubic-hair area . . . and said to me, 'There!' in a very sharp, loud, angry-sounding tone."

She added, "He had a dramatic display of violent temper as well as an extremely dictatorial commanding attitude besides his Mr. Smiley Global Warming concern persona. I did not want to get hurt, and I did not want to get raped."

The executive editor of the National Enquirer says the Oregon masseuse who made a sexual allegation against Al Gore asked the tabloid for $1 million but that the Enquirer did not pay her or anyone else in reporting the story.

Barry Levine said in an interview Thursday that the woman offered to sell her account through her lawyer but that "no money exchanged hands" and the paper conducted only a brief interview with her.

Levine also acknowledged that the Enquirer did not call Gore's office for comment "for competitive reasons" out of concern that the former vice president would issue a statement and the paper would lose the exclusive in the two days before it reached newsstands. Gore spokeswoman Kalee Kreider confirmed that the paper made no such attempt but declined further comment.

The Enquirer obtained a Portland, Ore., police report in which the red-haired masseuse, whose name the tabloid withheld, told authorities that Gore had sexually assaulted her during a 2006 hotel massage. The woman initially declined to be interviewed by police, but reconsidered and met with detectives early last year. The detectives concluded there was insufficient evidence to launch an investigation. The police never sought a statement from Gore or attempted to interview him about the claim.

An Enquirer reporter asked the woman why she didn't contact police on the night of the alleged incident, rather than waiting several weeks. "I was completely shaken and afraid I would lose my job," she responded. The woman, who told police that Gore had requested an abdominal massage, also said the Hotel Lucia asked her to provide services to a VIP guest registered as "Mr. Stone" and she was surprised to learn that it was Gore.

According to a source friendly with the Gores, Al Gore confirmed he received a therapeutic massage in his hotel room that night, and likely from the therapist making the accusation. But, the source said, Gore remembers getting a massage without incident and the therapist leaving on good terms.

Gore's attorneys wrote to the Portland Tribune in 2007 and 2008 that the allegation was "completely false" and the paper decided against publishing a story, in part because the woman was reluctant to be identified. In a 2007 letter, Gore's lawyers wrote: "You. . . . are aware that everyone who knows Al and Tipper Gore well can and does attest to the integrity of their 37 year marriage and to his honorable character. Moreover, no allegations remotely resembling the ones made by this lawyer have been made against Mr. Gore by anyone else." Gore recently announced that he and his wife are splitting up.

Asked why the Enquirer published the piece despite the woman's two-year delay in agreeing to be interviewed by authorities, Levine said: "We felt, if this was in legitimate police documents, that was a story that should be brought to the surface. We felt this was a significant story involving a very powerful man." He said he had former police officers examine the reports to make sure they weren't a "forgery" and felt "vindicated" Thursday when Portland authorities confirmed the authenticity of the documents.

The Enquirer report was followed up by a number of news organizations, including the Associated Press, the Portland Oregonian, the New York Post and The Washington Post.

The Enquirer's story, which Levine says was approved for publication just before the paper's deadline Monday night, relied heavily on documents. The tabloid confirmed that Gore, who had just released the film "An Inconvenient Truth," was in Portland at the time of the alleged incident to give a speech on global warming. The paper obtained the $540 bill -- including a 20 percent gratuity -- that the masseuse submitted to the Hotel Lucia, which retained her, along with her subsequent e-mail correspondence with the hotel.

Levine said he did not know whether the breakup of the Gore marriage prompted the masseuse to go public but that "you have to give her the benefit of the doubt." He conceded, however, that "this could come down to a he said/she said."

This is what pisses me off. This is what's supposed to happen when insufficient evidence is found to warrant charges. The police rightfully kept this away from the press. That's the procedure a normal person, hell even a former V.P. is supposed to be afforded in this great country of ours.

But not Ben. When are people going to start to realize that Ben was violated as bad as a wrongfully accused person can be by the league, the media, and the DA down in Ga.?

Portland police will investigate accusations that Al Gore groped woman

Portland police announced today that it will re-open and investigate a Portland massage therapist’s allegations that former Vice President Al Gore sexually assaulted her at a downtown hotel in October 2006.

The announcement comes as the therapist went public for the first time, telling the National Enquirer that she demanded a full police investigation of her complaint.

"Consistent with our policy regarding open investigations, the Police Bureau will not be commenting on any additional specifics regarding this case at this time,'' Portland Det. Mary Wheat, bureau spokeswoman, said in a news release.
