LATROBE, Pa. – Mike Tomlin always includes what he calls competition periods within every practice session. As Monday’s afternoon practice showed, not every competition period involves players crashing into one another.

Well, we fixed our short yardage woes last year (1st in the league on 3rd and inches). Now if we fix our redzone woes...OH BOY

I'm practically drooling at the mouth already if we can get our red zone woes fixed.

Who cares about the Red Zone? Wallace deep from the 40 works for me. :yup:

Notice that Ben doesn't have the "Don't Touch Me I'm A QB" pink jersey on?

I know of someone else who just LOVES wearing pink... would even do it in games if he could.

Definitely something I've always noticed and admired about Ben.

Real men don't wear pink, unless it is November and it is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Brady doesn't know any cancer victims... he just loves pink!

Hence the real men proviso. That picture of Brady sliding down the waterslide, (it's here somewhere on the site) was just too much for words. It emphasized how much Tom is in touch with his feminine side.

Brady & Manning are china dolls qb's as far as I'm concerned.

I wonder who would win in a slap fight (assuming they were not allowed to claw, scratch, gouge, pull one another's hair or kick each other in the pussy)

Are videocameras allowed?

He doesn't need the don't touch me pink on... He's not allowed to be touched from the get go.. His line is also allowed to hold every play to make sure he's not hit.

I look forward to the Steelers correcting their red zone mistakes from last season while upholding the corrections made on the short yardage situations. If they can do that this team become deadly in many ways and scoring early and often is a simple way to stay ahead in any game.

I don't put Manning in that category. He may get the benefit of calls, but Manning has gotten hit and pounded pretty good over the years without missing a game. I don't care who you are, if you find a way to start every game as a quarterback over 13 years, you have to be pretty tough. He doesn't take many sacks because he gets rid of the ball so quick, but he's been decked plenty of times.

So yeah, Manning does have that over Brady.

This has been one of the big issues for our offense of the past few years. It did get a little bit better in 2010 compared to 2009, but it still wasn't good. I really hope that the Steelers can fix this issue. This would make a big difference for us.
