He's apparently too busy to commit any real writing time, but it sounds like he's having the time of his life.

Take a look:

Love what he say's about being in the dorms and studying more now than he ever did before. The kid gets it and that alone makes me want him to succeed.

How bout a Baron Batch Bus signature???

I don't think it's a Bus analogy... it's more like drinking the kool-aid...

So,... whose Eating a Batch of cookies?

He just seems like a great young man. I was going to say "kid" but anybody his age that has it figured out (and admits that he really doesn't have it figured out yet) deserves the title of "man".

His excitement and commitment just jumps off the page.

Hey he may even join us here in the Universe. Would love to see us win the SB for this kid. Just something special about him. Great find FO in the seventh round. Even if he doesn't make the team, let him stick around and inspire everyone else.

:applaudit: I'm rooting for him - he's a keeper :tt02: The way that he expresses himself - articulate, intelligent (no spelling errors, either lol) - and his excitement and appreciation for everything that he's experiencing along with his strong work ethic ... he's had a decent upbringing, and sounds so normal lol I hope he makes the team - we can always use men like him.

Running Back Baron Batch out of Texas Tech has impressed but all Coach Tomlin will say about the Rookie is "He is a Rookie"

Baron Batch (http://www.nfl.com/players/baronbatch/profile?id=BAT027161), RB, Steelers, seventh-rounder - Batch might have been the most impressive guy I have seen at camp so far in terms of toughness. He's an outstanding pass protector and receiver for the third-down package.

I didn't think much of the kid coming in as our 7th round draft pick, but after hearing about his eye popping plays at camp and from his blog i'm truly starting to have mad respect for this kid and I hope that he will succeed in a Steelers uniform.

ON the outside, Tomlin will downplay Batch, but I know he still likes the kid. He is still a rookie but it's fun to watch. Just another Tomilin-ism, "If you will"
