Plaxico Burress dined twice with the Steelers at Saint Vincent College Saturday. Whether they manage a second date and possible renewal of a relationship that ended six years ago could be determined over the next several days.

The Jets, who previously had not been reported to have interest in Burress, now do, according to sources who talked with the free-agent receiver here Saturday. Burress reportedly enjoyed playing in New York for the Giants, even though he spent two years in jail there on a gun charge before his release the past June.
