Let's Learn the Roster

One of the many side effects of the lockout is the influx of new players to the roster.

Which makes trying to learn the names and numbers very diffiult. So let's figure them out. That way, when the preseason rolls around, we're not referring everyone to what number they're wearing.

List a number, there's at least one player, and sometimes two, for each number (Except for the ones offically and unoffically retired obviously).

So just throw a number out and someone can respond with the name and position.

True, anyone know why there's no #1? Just a lack of need? Can 0 and 00 still be issued? We had two guys wear them a long time ago. Zero Clement and Jack Collins, respectively.

One interesting thing. There isn't a 21 or 22 listed even though there are two 27s. Why wouldn't they give 22 to one of them unless they planned on bringing Gay back? The same with Moore.

It looks like the steelers are keeping it in the family this year. They have really saved money on lettering on the back of the jerseys. Nearly 20% of the roster appears to be related in some way.
