NFL Network reporter and NFL RedZone host Scott Hanson has recently spent time with the Steelers in Latrobe, Pa., and the Jets in Florham Park, N.J. Here are a few of his observations: 1. Let's see what condition your condition is in. The Steelers' conditioning test morphed into a "conditioning evaluation," according to coach Mike Tomlin. It was a series of timed, 100-yard sprints from goal line to goal line. Good thing is wasn't a test -- two massive DTs, Flozell Adams (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/players/flozelladams/profile?id=ADA280969) and Casey Hampton (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/players/caseyhampton/profile?id=HAM671173), along with running back Jonathan Dwyer (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/players/jonathandwyer/profile?id=DWY425790), would not have passed. On the positive side, Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/players/maurkicepouncey/profile?id=POU550260) looked like he could run track. Listed at 304 pounds, Pouncey just toyed with the drill, accelerating and throttling down, completely in command of the allotted time of 18 seconds for linemen. Take my word for it: Pouncey is an athlete with a capital 'A.'

3. Is this heaven? No, it's Latrobe. St. Vincent College is probably the most picturesque setting for an NFL camp. I've talked with several colleagues who've been to all of them, and the majority think, If I was a player, I'd want to camp here.

I have never heard one bad thing about the setting, everyone raves about how nice St. Vincent is. We're very lucky to be able to use it for the past 40+ years.

It is very nice. I can't wait to possibly go back this year again. It is always a good time and as I said a nice place.

I loved sitting up on that hill watching practice and looking out over those rolling hills and fields.
