This thread is getting way too much attention for a player who is already a confirmed BUST! I don't wish injury to him or anyone. But he was brought back as a Camp player to make sure our regulars don't play too much and get hurt. It's no big deal to our team.

I haven't seen a single thing about this reported except that Tomlin cut his conditioning run short and that he does that sometimes when he's seen enough, not necessarily that anything is wrong.

He's not hurt. Tolling pulled him because he saw enough and didst want him to do too much to fast. After Sweed ran his last 100, Tomlin said "good job".

This was on 93.7 the Fan about an hour ago.

He is speculating that Sweed was shut down in the run test because Sweed HAD an Achilles injury and Tomlin did not want to push him on the first day.

As you move into camp, the preparedness of each player will come out. No need to screw them up on day 1.

We will see. I still have faith in Sweed and think he will have a monster preseason.
