Couple things about this article:

The Post-Gazette reported that Suisham and cornerback Ike Taylor, who came to terms on Tuesday, were among four players who were priorities for the Steelers in free agency. The others are tackles Willie Colon and Jonathan Scott, although Colon appeared headed elsewhere.

The Steelers are negotiating with Scott's agent and also have told tackle Flozell Adams they want him back.

I'd think it would be Flozell, or Colon.

They both what to be the starter, and we can't afford to have one sitting on the bench as a 2nd stringer for starter money.

Maybe, but Flo only has probably one more year in him.

I would like to know where Colon is "headed" to?

True, but I believe he proved to be one of the better players on the line last year.

They are saying "they want him back", but they are also saying... "we want you to restrusture your contract".

I agree. Flo played well last year and I'd like to have him back too but not at the expense of Colon.

No surprise about Colon imo

I don't really care if we lose Colon or not. We did fine without him, and there's no guarantee he'll be able to come back from such a serious injury. We do need to make sure we plan for the future at tackle, though; that's the one place where I really have no idea what we're doing a year from now.

Starks is going to be released and they are "pursuing" Colon.

That would make more sense. Move Hotel back to the left where he is used to playing and have Colon on the right for less money than Starks is probably making, being that he is on his third year of a four year contract after being franchised tagged twice.

Well, this could be why we signed another punter for camp....per kffl.

According to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Colon was offered more money by the Bears but chose to stay in Pittsburgh. His deal is for $29 million over five years. (FoxSports.com first reported on the deal for Colon, as well as financial terms.)

Nice to hear he really wants to be here. I like it.

Sad to hear that Sepulveda is most likely leaving. I recently got his jersey, too, but you know what? I'll still wear it. I have tremendous respect for the man, that's why I got it.

Sep is a great punter--when he's healthy.

But if the Rooneys decide we're better off with a lesser punter who stays on the field, I'll trust them on it.
