Which Steeler do you think will have a break out season?

Season is about to start and baby I cant wait!!

Got me thinking of players that could really break out this year...

My break out stars both play on the defensive side of the ball.. Ziggy Hood and Crezdon Butler.

I know Ziggy has cracked the starting line up but i really hoping could break out and be a star of the defense.

Crezdon Butler was a stud at clemson his junior year. I would love to see him replace Gay this year.


Who do you think will have a break out year?

I'd like to see Jonathan Dwyer have a great camp. It would be nice if he could begin looking like he did in his days at GT.

That said, I think the real star will be Manny Sanders. He's got a year under his belt, he's learning from some of the best, and flashed signs of brilliance in his rookie year. If Ward trains "young money" too well, look out, Ward will become "benched money".

If it wasn't for the lockout I could see Butler being one

McFadden will start, but if late in the season he struggles I see no reason not to have Butler in there. He really opened some eyes last preseason, and I expect more of the same in August

I totally agree and hope that you are correct..... I think that in getting his life and his head straight, his play and game thinking can only improve.... I just wish that all of the talks and everything were completely settled, and we can get on with the season..... Sheesh.....

I'd say Ziggy on D Line with more playing time. I'd like to see any Dback not named Troy actually have a "Great" Season and turn some games around with some big plays.

I dont know , I have been scratching my head on this one. Did this guy have a horrible camp last year. He looked so promising in college. Maybe the Triple Option made him look better then he was. But signing Baron Batch makes the RB boat full. Someone is gonna have to walk the plank soon.

He reportedly looked awful (and fat) at TC last year, and did nothing the first two preseason games, but really shined the last two

Those two games pretty much put him on the roster

Unless he fell back to bad conditioning during the lockout, I see no reason for him not to build on what he did those last two games
