'Prince' Ben gets ready for his royal wedding

Pittsburgh's version of the royal wedding is set to take place in a little less than a month.

And even Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is aware that his upcoming nuptials have drawn comparisons, albeit on a smaller scale, to the ones that took place two months ago and featured an English prince.

Roethlisberger said he has not experienced any pre-wedding jitters, and when
asked if he is having a bachelor party, he laughed.

"I am not," he said. "I had one probably two weeks ago. It was 36 holes at
Firestone (Country Club in Ohio). It was great."

Will any of the "management" be allowed to attend? I'm sure Ben would like to have Tomlin, Arians, the Rooneys etc. at his wedding. Will the NFL or the declassified non existent NFLPA make an exception?

Maybe that's why they want to settle the labour dispute by July 15. Maybe Goodell is invited as well.

Jerry Jones got a special dispensation from the pope...errr... I mean permission from the league to attend Romo's wedding. :heh:

He didn't actually need it though. Tomlin was at Ben's camp earlier this week for awhile. The league doesn't want contact for football activities but they can't keep a person from going to a wedding or a charity event.

Just close off the women's bathrooms at the reception.

He invited all of his teammates to the wedding, and when asked if any of them
are in the wedding, he chuckled and said, "Maybe."

I'm thinking his wedding party looks like this....
