How sad is it that the Florida Marlins got kicked out of their home stadium for a U2 concert this weekend . They now have to travel across the country to play the Mariners in Seattle where the Marlins will be the home team for the 3 game series . I can never see the Yankees get thrown out of their stadium for any concert . Yeeeeeeesh

They have no control over what happens at their current stadium. It's still ridiculous that they got kicked out for a friggin U2 concert, and whoever booked it for that weekend should be fired on the spot. But they only have half a season left there, as they're moving to their new stadium next year.

No big loss. How many people go to Marlins games? 500? That stadium is always deserted isn't it?

I've always wanted to go to a Marlins game. Can get on TV, buy nosebleeds and then move down to behind home plate, sit in the outfrield and nab a home run ball, no lines in the concession stands.

Well, the good news for the Marlins is, they're heading to site of the old Orange Bowl like X-T pointed out. Glad they're getting out of that stadium. They shouldn't be playing at Sun Life Stadium anyway.
