I’m in Buffalo for Jim Kelly’s 12th Annual Golf Outing and last evening I had a chance to hang out with old teammates like Bruce Smith and Andre Reed. I also had the chance to hang out with some new faces, but the one who stood out the most to me was Ben Roethlisberger.

Few football players outside of Albert Haynesworth made more headlines for the wrong reasons (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2011/01/21/AR2011012106465.html)in 2010. I read the reports and heard about the repentance of Ben (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2011/01/29/AR2011012904241.html)after all the drama last off season in Georgia.

I have to tell you: I’ve met him before and felt as though he was a pretty arrogant guy, but last evening my perception of him totally changed............

I was good to read a good article about Big Ben, because over the past two years there haven't been too many of them.

That was a good article and I'm glad articles like this are finally being published in the national media. People are saying that he's only acting good to make himself look good, I guess those people can't accept a changed person.

What a great article. Regardless of what it took, thank goodness Ben seems to have his head on straight. It sure is nice to see him making the news for walking around with a waterbottle talking to people, or hanging out at a water park.

As much as it annoys me that the man cant go to the water park without it ending up on TMZ, I suppose it could be worse.
