Sadly there are a lot of Hall of Fame caliber receivers that the Hall of Fame committee has snubbed so Hines will probably have to wait for at least a few years

Hines is going to need a couple more productive years in order to get in to the HOF. The pass happy nature of today's NFL is going to make it so that he's going to need better numbers.

1000 receptions, Super Bowl MVP, the best blocking WR of his generation. I say he gets in on his 3rd year of eligibility.

That sounds about right to me, I think he may be deserving of possibly being a first ballot but people are going to look at the league being so pass happy that they will consider some of his stats inflated but he is one of the greats and will get in

If he wasn't a Steeler, he'd be in 1st year or second.

The anti-Steeler bias will mean he'll have to wait. But his numbers are pretty gaudy when you consider that the Steelers were a predominately run-first team during most of his tenure.
