Eli Manning (http://www.nfl.com/players/elimanning/profile?id=MAN473170) (No. 1), Philip Rivers (http://www.nfl.com/players/philiprivers/profile?id=RIV651634) (No. 4) and Ben Roethlisberger (http://www.nfl.com/players/benroethlisberger/profile?id=ROE750381) (No. 11) were the first quarterbacks selected in the 2004 NFL Draft, and all three have become top-flight NFL players. But if you had to pick only one to lead your team, who would it be?

We asked our experts that question, and they came up with a different order than did NFL players, who ranked Rivers (yet to be announced but inside the top 40) higher than Roethlisberger (41st) in NFL Network's "The Top 100 Players of 2011" (http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-top100-2011) and left Manning completely off the list..........

I've never seen a QB fold as much as Rivers. Guy may get great stats and have lots of talent, but he's far from a great quarterback

Don't tell that to the Top 100 panel. Still riding that Phillip Rivers band train. Pretty Fantasy stats, but the dude is a postseason choke artist. By the way, didn't the Chargers miss the playoffs last year? They didn't even have an opportunity to choke.

After the Carson Palmer and Tony Romo hype died down and people seen who they really were (or weren't), they gone back to pumping up Phyllis.

It'll die down just like it did with those two

and then they'll move on to another overrated fantasy QB

People use to say you had to win super bowls to be consider a great qb and, I guess that was before Ben Rothlisberger. It is good the JW put in his two cents and, I don't always agree with him of course this time I do. Look I was evn listening to the 97.3 the fan in Baltimore because, I live in Delaware. All of them agreed that Ben should have been ranked much in that top 100 list. They all were giving him props you know he is a winner and, usually maked big plays when he has to.

EXACTLY. And you know why? Cuz of the apparent bias and hatred of all things Ben (and the Steelers). Just sayin'.
