Simple...yet appropriately gaudy. :sofunny:

Weighing in at a little over 2 ounces (about double the heft of an iPod Nano (http://www.apple.com/ipodnano)), the ring's rectangular face stretches from the knuckle to the base of the finger. The fleur de lis, outlined in black, features a .06-carat round diamond, representing the team's first Super Bowl win.
Sixteen diamonds surrounding the face represent the 16 wins during the 2009 season. Forty-four diamonds circling the entire ring symbolize the 44th Super Bowl.

Flip the ring on its sides, and on one shank, there's the score, the Super Bowl XLIV logo, the game date (engraved as "02.07.10"), the location ("Miami, FL") and the NFL shield. On the other shank is the player's name, number and position as well as a city skyline design, featuring the Superdome, a Carnival float (complete with riders holding the Lombardi Trophy aloft) and a line of music notes from "When the Saints Go Marching In."

That's a really nice ring. I like it a lot. It's simple and classy, not over the top.

I like it for the same reason. In most everything, simple and well executed trumps fancy and gaudy.

I think it's pretty sharp myself. At least we're not looking at the colt's ring :heh:

I dunno - I kind of like it. I'm a very simple kind of gal and if you stop and think about it - the Saints are pretty much a simple kind of team. Good team all the way around but not off the charts great.

I think it looks very old school. And that's a good thing.

Looks good to me.

Beats the last two Steelers championship rings which I never really liked the look of, but couldn't care less because those Lombardi's that come with them are so shiny and purty. Even though I'd rather they preserve the "sticky Lombardi" and the history and story it would add - fingerprints and kisses.

Loved the Pens rings though.

You can! They are raffling off a real one to benefit the oil mess. I think it's a great idea....imagine the lucky fan that wins one of those!

Yea thats a very good idea and that would be an amazing thing to have, even if you were not a Saints fan.

Ehh looks OK. A little simple for my taste, but Im sure the players and coaches are enjoying their new bling.

Sweet it would have looked alot better if it had been a Pittsburgh Steeler superbowl ring.

Beats the last two Steelers championship rings which I never really liked the look of

Especially the SB XLIII ring which I think looks terribly gawdy. Hurts my eyes to look at it -LOL!

Not feeling it. Our ring last year was wayy nicer

VERY nice - the only thing I would personally change about it would be to have the fleur-de-lis filled in with a dark stone to offset it against the white background (leaving the round diamond signifying the team's first championship in place).

I love this ring---simple and to the point on the face of the ring, but the shanks are what I like the most...the images of St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square, the Mardi Gras float with riders holding the Lombardi, the musical notes to "When the Saints Go Marching In"...all of these things are Uniquely New Orleans (too bad they didn't put a crawfish on it! OK, j/k)

I'm working on tickets for the Steelers-Saints game...

Not bad, not as nice as our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th rings, but not bad for a 1st time ring.
