Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Nick Eason wants you to join him on a two-day bike ride to help create a world free of multiple sclerosis.

Eason will join 1,000 other riders pedaling in Bike MS' "Escape to the Lake" fundraising event on June 11 and 12.

"You know, it's a challenge. I like to do to things that are very challenging in life and defeat the odds, and I'm pretty sure a lot of people don't think I'm going to make it, but I am," said Eason.

Eason said the fight against MS is a personal one because his mother suffers from the disease.............

My first wife was hit with this disease at the age of 21. We were married for 7 months at the time..I saw first hand what this disease can do to a person and I think it's great that Eason is doing what he's doing.

Eason has always given back to the community. He seems like a real stand-up guy. Good for him and we need to hear more stories like this and less of what crazy event OchoCinco is trying next.
