Let’s rewind to the 2000 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers had selected a big, tall wide receiver out of Michigan State, Plaxico Burress (http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BurrPl00.htm). Burress spent five years with the Steelers, leaving after the 2004 AFC Championship game amidst a trail of tears, according to offensive coordinator Bruce Arians.

The red zone target would go on to catch the winning touchdown in a Super Bowl, put a halt to a bid for a perfect season, and then ultimately find himself behind bars.

Fast forward to the present day and that same man who caught 22 touchdowns for the Steelers is a free agent, looking to re-start his career in much the same way that Philadelphia’s Michael Vick (http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/V/VickMi00.htm) has. Were not likely to get Nnamdi, but were 10 times more likely not to get Burress (after all the negative things he's done) back.

No way I want that ten cent head with the big yap back in the black and gold. :horror: Let some other unsuspecting team toss the cashola at him - I'm very satisfied with the receiving corps we have thank you very much.

I'd take him back in a second to say see ya to Limas and El.

You really want that headcase poisoning the locker room? No freaking way. We'll be more than fine with who we have.

Hate to admit it, but this article by Ron Cook made me give it a little more thought.
