Kym Johnson injured in rehersal

'Dancing with the Stars' dancer Kym Johnson, Hines Ward's partner this season, has just been carried out of rehearsals on a stretcher that's being brought to a L.A. hospital. No word yet on her condition or what caused the ambulance to be called.
Our cameras caught up with a very serious and concerned Hines Ward outside of the hospital, where he told us that he didn't know what was going on, but was going in to find out..........

From a message board, someone posted that from a local news, Hines is at Kym's side and won't speak to the press. Can't say I blame him.

Wow. I hope she is OK.

I have thoroughly enjoyed watching them as Hines really lights up the stage and she seems like a terrific partner.

Whatever it is I pray for Kym to have a speedy recovery, in general of course, but especially because it would be a shame for Hines to go home due to this.

If Kym would be unable to continue, they would put another pro in as Hines' partner... That has happened a couple of times... When it is the celeb who is injured, if they have rehearsal tapes, the judges have used those to judge on - - used one time, I think - - and if that cannot happen, the celeb would drop out....

I do hope that the measures that they used were all precautionary, and that everything goes well... Scary stuff....

I want to update you on my partner Kym. Kym was admitted to the hospital today after falling and injuring her neck during our practice. After several tests, she was cleared by the medical staff but she is bruised, sore and wearing a neck brace right now. Kym plans to continue with me in the competition and get back to rehearsals as soon as possible. Steeler Nation - please show her some love. She is awesome! Hines

Kym is a trooper and I have little doubt she'll perform with Hines tomorrow night. I was so sorry to hear that she had been injured and if for whatever reason she can't give it a go tomorrow, I'm sure they'll match Hines up with a very good partner - possibly Cheryl Burke?

Course after seeing some of this stuff I have read, I have officially started to have that much more respect for her. She's tough as nails.
