...“I’ll be somewhere where I know the people, know the staff,” Barber said. “It will be a team that needs some veteran leadership or just needs a little push or needs somebody they can count on to fit a role.”...

He could be a good RB coach.

What "strong ties" does he have to Tomlin? :noidea:

Bypass Pittsburgh and head straight for Tampa, Tiki. I like the stable of RB's we already have thank you very much.

I say NO also ! I don't see a spot for him...and I was thinking the same as 'fansince76'-- WHAT ties are there ? Just seems like BS to me.

Well, Tomlin used to be Tampa Bay's defensive backs coach, and he, Ronde and Tiki went out for a beer once. Therefore, Tiki and Tomlin are "tight." Yeah, that must be it. :noidea:

I'd rather keep Mendy than let Tiki defile the Steelers shield.

ETA: He should go to the Bucs. Then they could have him run to the locker room and trade unis with his brother. Good way to keep the opposition off balance.

The Steelers have much more veteran leadership than the Bucs. The Bucs are one of the youngest teams in the NFL :doh2:

We need a Today show reporter for the team. Tiki can have that spot.

Uh, no. I don't know what those 'close ties' are with Tomlin but we don't have a roster spot for him.

Guys, guys, you're dismissing the idea too quickly without giving it a chance.

I'm with you, I like what we have and what we have coming in. I can't see us spending that much money, and more importantly a spot on the team.

Remember when he threw Eli under the bus, retired, and then Eli won the SB without him? :chuckle:
