With the 31st pick of the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected Ohio State Buckeyes defensive end Cameron Heyward, while many fans wanted to see a defensive back selected at this spot, the overall consensus was a warm welcome for the newest addition to the Steelers defense. His Facebook fan page is littered with comments from Steelers fans welcoming him to Steeler Nation.

Heyward is the prototypical five technique lineman, and will more than likely be groomed to take over for Aaron Smith once he decides to retire, or in the event of an injury. Ziggy Hood was thought to be the replacement there, but would make a much better fit on the other side of the line, a position he should be ready to step into with ease once Brett Keisel calls it quits as well....................
