Steelers defensive back Anthony Madison joined the FAN Morning Show to talk about the new changes to kickoffs in the NFL and the ongoing lockout situation.

Madison says the new kickoff rules will affect the returners more than the coverage players. He also thinks there will be many more touch backs in the game. However, Madison said there might be an opportunity for returners to run back the ball now that coverage players can only line-up five yards behind the line of scrimmage.

Madison tells the FAN Morning Show that the new rules will also “affect more jobs” because currently players drafted in the late rounds are only able to make their name on special teams and now they won’t have that opportunity.

Madison addressed the current state of the lockout and he doesn’t know what type of free agent he will be and whether or not he will be on the Steelers next season.
Madison said he is prepared if there are no games next season because he saved his money knowing that his football career can be taken away from him at anytime.........
