SteelerEmpire

Played flag football this past Saturday on a team a friend of mine is developing modeled after the Steelers. Wow. Have not had that much fun in a LONG time. We beat a Cowboys fan, and modeled, team 28-21. That was such a sweet victory as we drew a lot of attention and spectators in our Steelers jerseys and them in their Cowboys jerseys (as well as Oklahoma City being basically a Dallas Cowboys "satellite" town).
I had an old $40 Steelers jersey (Lynn Swann) that I wore for the game and me being somewhat fast (at least in past years, lol) played WR.
But the best part about it is that it's the perfect way to get and stay in shape (I'm STILL sore from all the running around that day... at "full" speed), and an excellent way to have fun and do a kool activity with the family and friends. But if your goal (and potential teammates) is to get healthy and stay in shape, I "GUARANTEE" this will get you there when you combine an hour of practice every other day and then game day.
Other things I like about it:
- Both men and women can play. We have a "really" hot girl on our team which in
turn draws other women (and of course men) as spectators and peaks their
interest in playing as well.
- As I said, you can form a team or join one.
- Their are adult, children, adult and children teams and leagues.
- Very inexpensive to set up.
- You attract kool interest and sponsors (like even ESPN).
Wish I had pics from the game this past weekend, but I just heard about it on the fly that same day and were still settin up.
