I am so ready for April 9th-10 weekend. We are sitting 7 rows up from 1st base by the visitors dugout on Saturday night and 7 rows up from 3rd base by the Pirates dugout on the 10th. Hope to see some of you there..

Meek is not a scrub.. He was our only player to be in the All-Star game last year and had the lowest ERA.. He just needs to pull it together for the next one..

Something I loved is the baserunning looked good in this first series, they made smarter moves which is key.

I worry about the offense sometimes because 12K's for an opposing pitcher is way way way to high, but Garza is one great pitcher and I gotta give him that!

I couldn't see much of it because the free preview of MLB Extra Innings FiOS was providing decided to show what was left of the Pirates game after the Yankees game was over. The Yankee game went into extra innings and didnt end til 10:22 and they didnt skip to the Pirates game til 10:30 and I had to leave for work at 10:35 so I only saw like 5 minutes of it.

I would never consider buying MLB Extra Innings if they do that though.

My chest hurts after reading that OMG X-T! :applaudit: But agreed. I think the pitching has been the difference and if they can keep up this level of play all season long this is def. a better than .500 team. Only time will tell since like you said it's only been a week of baseball!

I think Morton has shown a ton of improvement from last year, he was horrible last year but he seemed to have a lot better control so far.

I am so sick of going to games and fans acting like idiots... Saturday must of been a full moon. I admire you for your unwavering support, but I'm sorry, I can't be as optimistic. I don't see things being any different than years past. It would be different if we had an owner like the Orioles' owner who realized that maybe spending a few more bucks to bring in some quality talent to support the young talent they already have would help them be a better team, but we don't. WOW Buccos winning 9-1 in the 9th of course going to win this one and win the series meaning they won their first 3 road series so far this season which is such a HUGE improvement compared to be the worst road team last season!

Now if they can get a win streak going at home this can be an above .500 team, but great to see them looking better in the first two months above last season, keep it up!

I was actually listening to this game while watching the Pens game...what the hell is with this team? Almost halfway to their season total for road wins and it's just April 18? Yet they only managed one stinking win at home last week. Correia's CG is the second in a week after getting just one all of last season. Credit where credit is due - they did a fine job of grabbing 3 of 4 from the Reds and cooling off their hot start.
