There seems to be a problem with ESPN if you are using IE, they are working on the problem. You are registered with ESPN? They said once you click on the link, it will take you to the site, and then there should be a link to accept the invite.

If anyone else is trying to join, here's what I'm experiencing. IE won't provide an actual "join" button, so I'm in limbo as team 7 but actually only officially invited to play. I tried going through via Firefox, and the portal through FF said registration is closed for ALL ESPN FF.

I'm sure they will iron out the wrinkles soon...

I will be at a wedding Saturday, August 21. Is there any chance of moving the draft? Is anyone else having a conflict? I always found Sunday evening to be the most conducive draft time, but if everyone is set with the 21st I guess I can just auto-draft.

No matter what you call it, quitting on your team in the middle of the season is just bad. The league members are depending on each other to run their teams to the best of their ability to make the league competitive. Any owner not keeping up with the basics of their team, meaning submitting a valid lineup each and every week hurts everyone in the league, hurting the league itself.

Deadbeat owners are the scourges of fantasy football. If you’re one of them, you should be ashamed of yourself. Period. End of story.

I play totally for fun and even if I'm having a bad season, I still enjoy FF immensely. :thumbsup: FF is more a game of luck than brain power. As I know all too well this season, injuries to key players can shift your season around and you're screwed, but dems the breaks! I played a "deadbeat owner" this week in one of my leagues (can't remember which league specifically as I'm in 27 :lol:) and as the "challenge" was gone, it wasn't a fun experience.

What if I choose not to keep the maximum number of players allowed in my keeper league?
If an owner chooses not to keep the maximum number of players allowed, they will draft a new player from the available pool once all keepers have been retained. For example, assuming a four team league with a maximum of three keepers, where two owners choose not to keep three players, a straight (not snake) draft will occur as follows:

1st round:
Adam obtains first of three keepers
Brian obtains first of two keepers
Chris obtains first of three keepers
Dave drafts a player from available player pool

2nd round:
Adam obtains second of three keepers
Brian obtains second of two keepers
Chris obtains second of three keepers
Dave drafts player from available player pool

3rd round:
Adam obtains third of three keepers
Brian drafts player from available player pool
Chris obtains third of three keepers
Dave drafts player from available player pool

4th round (regular draft selections for all owners):

So, with that said, the majority of the league has no problem with 10 players for keepers. I am really hoping that the 3 and 1/3 owners that have not selected their 10 would just go with flow.

Besides in all fairness each team is required to drop 1 of their top 2 highest scoring players from last year, with the concept you suggested that means if an owner doesn’t drop all of the required keepers they would have the first choice of the highest players dropped before the rest of league all able to participate in the draft, that’s not fair.

It's a big issue. Is someone checking the 1 of the top2 scoring being dropped? Plus who wants to be forced to keep scrubs? Second if someone not keeping 10 gets first pick, it totally screws it up. I think it might be you taking it too seriously. All I did is post some concerns. I don't take any of it seriously and am one of the owners who long ago submitted keepers, BUT I submitted plenty that I don't care to have on my roster and will be drops as soon as the draft is over with. I believe there are many teams in this league in the same position. That is all I'm saying . IDC if it's addressed or not.

If you log into the site and pull up your team, it will show your draft order as well as your waiver order. I'm drafting 3rd from what it says.

Yep you are S.O.L. on your keeper that got injured. You can drop him once the draft is complete if you think he isn't worth a roster spot.

Unfortunately that's the way it is as far as injured keepers, I'm in the same boat, I have Terrell Thomas CB on injured reserve but he was one of my selected keepers, I can't change him out, I can, but will not disturb the integrity of our league. Non-keepers will be removed 1 hour before draft. As HTG said, your draft order along with your waiver order is displayed on your team page.

Is there any interest in lifting roster position limits? I'm not sure how a limit would be beneficial. I would much rather have a 6th RB or WR than a 3rd QB. Also McCluster is listed at RB and WR , yet the system insists you drop a WR to add him.

Something is wrong with our league. I'm tied for last place, yet I'm showing as waiver order 6 of 12. Even with PF and PA figured in, and the very WORST I should be 10 of 12. I can't get better if teams ahead of me are able to acquire players off the waiver wire ahead of me.
