Although former New York Giant running back Tiki Barber is interested in playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the feeling isn't mutual. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers have zero interest in signing Barber. Barber, 35, is attempting to make a comeback and end his retirement. The New York Post reported that Barber was interested in playing for the AFC champions.

Good... everytime a "high profile" player becomes available, it's always " *insert name here* is interested in playing for the Steelers!!! "

Of course they are. Who wouldn't want to play for a perennial winner every season?

Heh - I don't know much, but even I know enough that the real surprise would have been if the Steelers were interested in Tiki! From what I understand, he's not much of a team player and basically just needs the money. If he "lost his passion" four years ago, I doubt he's un-retiring for the love of the game now.

God has answered my prayers. We have enough backs in our stable and hopefully, the Steelers can find a way to keep MeMo on the cheap.

Wow - his new squeeze sure is pretty! Of course, according to the pictures I saw, his old squeeze warn't no slouch neither. Guess there's just no pleasing some people.

I wonder what team, if any, will take Tiki on? From what I can tell, his reputation isn't the best, though I know that doesn't matter so much to some teams.

Though I just read an article by lovely Eddie B and he said Tomlin and the Barbers are close and he wouldnt be shocked if it did happen.

Even if all of our backs were out for the season, I would hope the Steelers would not be interested in Tiki. Go sell crazy somewhere else.
