Common knowledge says the Steelers '74 draft class is the best draft class ever. 4 HOF players came out of that class. But, is the HOF the only metric to measure how good a draft class was? Is it better to draft 3 HOF's, and let 9 other draft picks walk in the mid 80's, or to draft no HOF's in 2001, and have all 7 pics still starting, and producing today?

Many of you may have seen this write-up. It is an illustration of how all NFL players are graded out for career. In this particular case, it was used to illustrate which draft class was the best in overall contribution.

He does mention, that he didn't account for players moving to other teams, nor for spots in rounds. This is simply, What team drafted the best class of players for overall contribution. It's been up for quite a while, so you may have seen it before, but I did find it quite interesting.
